To use SaaS Mode on HighLevel you need the Agency Pro plan: $497 per month, or $4,970 per year. It is the only one of the three self-serve plans that lists SaaS Mode (HighLevel pricing). This guide covers what the plan includes, what costs extra, and how the numbers work for a reseller.

All prices below were checked on HighLevel's pricing page and help center on the date shown at the end of this guide. HighLevel notes that its plans are subject to change, so confirm before you buy.

What paying annually saves

Twelve months of Agency Pro at $497 is $5,964. The annual price is $4,970, so paying yearly saves $994, which works out to about $414 a month. The trade-off is cash up front and less flexibility if you change your mind early.

What SaaS Mode actually gives you

HighLevel's pricing FAQ describes SaaS Mode as selling subscriptions directly from your website, with client accounts created automatically, and earning recurring revenue by rebilling SMS, email and other features (HighLevel pricing). In practice that means:

  • Plans you define in the SaaS Configurator, with your own monthly or annual price, feature access, trial and starting credits
  • Automatic provisioning: a paid signup creates a sub-account and can load a snapshot (SaaS Configurator guide)
  • Rebilling with markup on supported usage such as phone and email
  • Non-payment handling: HighLevel's SaaS Mode page lists dunning (lockout on non-payment) among the features (SaaS Mode page)

Usage costs: what HighLevel charges you

Usage is paid from a prepaid agency wallet that tops itself up from your card when it falls below a minimum balance (pricing guide). Published US rates:

UsageHighLevel rateSource
Local phone number$1.15 per monthPhone pricing
Toll-free number$2.15 per monthPhone pricing
SMS (US), outbound or inbound$0.00747 per segment, plus carrier feesPhone pricing
Carrier fee examples, SMS outAT&T $0.0035, T-Mobile $0.0045, Verizon $0.0050Phone pricing
Outbound calls (US)$0.0166 per minutePhone pricing
Inbound calls (US, web/mobile)$0.01165 per minutePhone pricing
Email$0.675 per 1,000 emailsPricing guide
A2P 10DLC registration (low volume)$22.50 one-time, plus a monthly campaign feePhone pricing

On Agency Pro you can pass these costs to each client's sub-account with a markup you choose. HighLevel also applies a fixed 5% markup to certain pass-through items (such as carrier fees and A2P fees) at the sub-account level when rebilling is enabled (phone pricing).

Add-ons resellers commonly consider

From HighLevel's pricing page and pricing guide:

Add-onPrice
White label mobile app (your app in the app stores)$497/month, or $1,491/quarter
Branded Client Portal App$49/month per sub-account
SEO (powered by Search Atlas)$79/month per sub-account
Online listings$30/month per sub-account
WhatsApp integration$10/month per sub-account, plus usage
Dedicated email IP$59/month
HIPAA compliance$297/month, account-wide
Premium support$500/month

Many per-sub-account add-ons can be resold to clients with your own markup on Agency Pro, according to HighLevel's add-ons note on the pricing page. Treat each one as a product decision: include it in a plan, sell it as an option, or leave it off.

A worked example (example only)

This is arithmetic, not a forecast. Suppose an agency on Agency Pro (monthly) signs 10 clients at $197/month each, takes card payments through Stripe at 2.9% + 30ยข per charge (Stripe pricing), and rebills usage at cost so it neither earns nor loses on texts and email.

LineMonthly
Subscription revenue (10 x $197)$1,970.00
Card fees (10 x ($197 x 2.9% + $0.30))-$60.13
HighLevel Agency Pro-$497.00
Before your own time, tools and taxes$1,412.87

With 3 clients at the same price the same sum is $591.00 - $18.04 - $497.00 = $75.96. That is the real shape of the business: the platform fee is fixed, so the first few clients mostly cover it. Try your own numbers in the profit calculator.

Costs that are not on HighLevel's bill

  • Your time: onboarding calls, support, building and updating snapshots
  • Payment processing on what clients pay you
  • Sales and marketing: ads, outreach tools, your own website
  • Refunds and failed payments
  • Taxes: depending on where you and your clients are, software subscriptions can be taxable. Ask an accountant.

Is Agency Pro worth it?

It is worth it when automated signups, plan-based access and marked-up rebilling save you more time or earn you more than the $200/month gap over Unlimited. For an agency with a handful of managed clients billed by invoice, Unlimited may be enough. We break that decision down in Agency Pro vs Unlimited.

Frequently asked questions

How much is HighLevel SaaS Mode?

SaaS Mode comes with HighLevel's Agency Pro plan, $497 per month or $4,970 per year. Usage such as texts, calls and email is billed separately from a prepaid wallet.

Is SaaS Mode available on the $297 plan?

No. HighLevel's pricing page lists SaaS Mode only on Agency Pro. The $297 Unlimited plan includes unlimited sub-accounts and rebilling of phone and email at cost, without markup.

HighLevel offers a 14-day free trial on any plan. Billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and usage-based fees may apply during the trial.

Does HighLevel take a cut of what my SaaS clients pay me?

HighLevel's pricing page does not list a revenue share on SaaS subscriptions. You pay your plan, usage and any add-ons. Your payment processor charges its own fees on client payments.

Can I mark up texts and calls?

On Agency Pro, yes. HighLevel's pricing guide says rebilling with an agency markup is available on the $497 plan as part of SaaS Mode, and rebilling without markup is available on the $297 and $497 plans.
